How It Works
Single shot per round, timed game. Every round, players bowl and are ranked by their pin count. The highest scorer earns points equal to the number of players, second place gets one fewer, and so on down the group. Points accumulate across all rounds.
After each shot, a toboggan animation shows each player’s progress down the hill, with real-time standings updating as the round plays out. When the timer runs out, the player with the most cumulative points wins.
If you have played Mario Kart, the position-based scoring will feel immediately familiar.
What Makes It Different
Every round is its own mini-competition. You are not just bowling against the pins, you are racing against the group. The ranking system means one great round can shift the entire leaderboard, and the timed format keeps the pace high. The toboggan theme ties the game to the park’s identity, making it feel like part of the Toboggan Hill Park experience rather than a generic bowling game.
This is an example of what LaneCraft can build for a venue. The scoring, animations, and branding were all designed specifically for Toboggan Hill Park.
Who It’s For
The mixed family groups that visit the park. Because every round resets the rankings, beginners stay involved while experienced bowlers still have plenty to chase. Fast to play, easy to follow, and great to watch from the sidelines.
Parent’s Guide
The ranking system means you only need to score slightly fewer pins than the kids each round to steadily fall behind on cumulative points. Drop one or two pins below their count and your toboggan will slowly drift to the back of the pack. The visual race format means the kids are too busy watching their sled to scrutinise your technique.
