Lanes, Software, and Everything Around Them
Every LaneCraft installation is built from these parts. Designed here, built to order, and supported for the life of the lane.
Our Format
KERN
KERN™ is LaneCraft's compact bowling format: full-size Tenpin pins, light same-weight Kern Balls, no gutters, and no shoes, on a 12 metre lane that fits where a regulation lane never could.
It is the format most homes choose and the one that makes a four-lane boutique venue possible in an ordinary building. Engineered, not shrunk, and proven commercially at Toboggan Hill Park.

Tenpin Lane
The full-length game as it is played everywhere: an 18 metre lane, traditional Tenpin balls, bowling shoes, and the standard ten-pin triangle. For homes and venues with around 25.8 metres to give it, and for anyone who wants regulation bowling under their own roof.

Ninepin Lane
The European format: nine pins in a diamond, light same-weight balls, no shoes, and a 19.4 metre lane. Harder than it looks and full of character. For the player who wants something genuinely different, with the space to fit it.

Software and Scoring Console
16 game modes today and more arriving through updates, with custom branding and venue management, on a touchscreen console designed in-house to suit the room. Every lane we sell runs it, and it is the reason a LaneCraft lane has more ways to play next year than it does today.

KERN Balls and Accessories
Lightweight, same-weight Kern Balls, custom-branded balls for venues, traditional Tenpin balls, ball racks, and ramps for accessibility. Chosen or made to match the rest of the installation.

Our Approach
The Best We Can Find, or the Best We Can Make
Most bowling equipment is designed for commercial centres with 20 or more lanes, and much of it is excellent. Where the best option already exists, such as the string pinsetters, we use it. Where it does not, because nothing was made for a private home or a boutique venue, we design it ourselves: the KERN format, the scoring console, and the software that runs every lane. The result is an installation where every piece was either chosen or built for the job.
